Researched how user engagement indicators are measured and reported in apps designed for people with serious mental illness, through Harvard Medical Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Department of Digital Psychiatry.

Presented a poster at the ACM Computer-Human Interaction (CHI) conference in Montreal. (April 2018)
Supported lawyers, technologists, policymakers, and researchers at the Harvard Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society and MIT Media Lab to build an institutional knowledge base of the ethics and governance of artificial intelligence.
Provided research support for “Encryption policy and its international impacts: a framework for understanding extraterritorial ripple effects,” which was published in the Stanford Hoover Institution’s series on legal and policy issues at the intersection of technology and national security. Co-created Photeo, a user-friendly website that allows people to organize their photographs by event, title and annotate photographs, and apply filters. Uses a MySQL database and a lot of php. (December 2014)
